Healing & Movement Come First—Nutrition Follows

Yes, nutrition plays a big role in your energy, hormones, and mood—
and it is important to understand the basics, like getting enough protein to support your lean mass and reducing sugars and processed foods.
But what that looks like is unique for each of us, based on our goals, our health, and—most importantly—our relationship with ourselves.

For me, nutrition was one of the hardest things to get “right.”
I spent years either not giving my body what it needed, training too hard, or overindulging to comfort myself.
Not because I didn’t know what was healthy…
but because I was carrying unresolved trauma.
I didn’t need more restriction—
I needed a hug.
I needed to feel safe and support I wasn’t getting.

That’s why, in this space, we focus on healing first.
Because for someone who’s struggled with disordered eating,
talking about “proper nutrition” can feel like another form of control or shame.
And that’s not what we do here.

Instead, we go to the root.
We explore why it’s been hard to eat in a way that feels nourishing.
We hold space for the emotions, the health challenges, the unmet needs—
and we heal them.

As I learned to feel, to meet myself with compassion, and to stop punishing my body,
my nutrition shifted naturally and is still a contiuned work in progress.
Learning to nourish myself instead of restrict myself.

It was never about willpower.
It was always about worthiness.

Progressive Overload: The Magic of Gentle Challenge

We train smart and safe—with progressive overload, which means gradually increasing resistance or reps over time so your muscles grow and your body doesn't adapt.
